Holiday Inn Express Tyler South by IHG

My family and I have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 30 days due to a family member being in the hospital. Everything about this property exceeds our expectations. The staff is phenomenal from the front desk all the way to the housekeepers, even the staff that serves breakfast in the morning are friendly. We really enjoy the lovely rooms, great breakfast and we always set time aside for the pool. The hospital (UT HEALTH) was less than 4 minutes away plus this hotel is in the perfect location for family parks and dining!

The breakfast was better than average for low-cost lodging. But, anytime one is eating factory made omelettes with plastic forks on Styrofoam plates with no fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls that come in plastic containers from Lord knows where, you can’t really give that breakfast a very high rating. Staff members were courteous and enthusiastic. The room was large. The furnishings were a little worn, but they were completely OK. My room had a very good worktable, almost like a small conference room table.

Very comfortable bed and pillows! Nice TV, lots of channels, air conditioner worked great, clean room, friendly staff, quiet hotel, would stay again. Safe place to stay if traveling alone.
